Please read this first. MyUSVisa is a technology platform that helps you organize your immigration case and connect with independent, licensed immigration attorneys. MyUSVisa is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not represent you. Any legal advice or representation comes solely from the licensed attorney you choose to work with. MyUSVisa is not affiliated with USCIS or any U.S. government agency.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and MyUSVisa ("MyUSVisa", "we", "us"). By creating an account, making a payment, or otherwise using myusvisa.us and related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What MyUSVisa is — and is not

MyUSVisa is a case-management and matchmaking platform. We help you gather and organize your documents and information, produce an organized case file, and share that file with independent, licensed immigration attorneys who may offer to represent you.

MyUSVisa does not practice law. We do not select forms, strategies, or filing approaches for you, do not complete or file applications on your behalf, and do not provide legal advice, opinions, or representation. Where the Service suggests document types or case categories, those are informational prompts only — the choices are yours, and your attorney is responsible for all legal decisions. We are not a party to any agreement between you and an attorney.

3. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. How the service works

We do not guarantee that an attorney will offer to take your case, that any case will be accepted, or any particular outcome.

5. Attorneys on the platform

Attorneys who use MyUSVisa are independent professionals, not employees or agents of MyUSVisa. While we take reasonable steps to confirm that attorneys represent themselves as licensed, we do not endorse, supervise, or guarantee any attorney's services, advice, conduct, fees, or results. Your engagement with an attorney — including scope of work, fees, and any representation agreement — is solely between you and that attorney. Any dispute about legal services is between you and your attorney.

6. Fees, payment & refunds

The MyUSVisa platform fee for case management is disclosed before you pay, along with any payment-processing fee for your chosen method. Because we confirm that an attorney is available before collecting payment, your payment is charged at that point — not merely held.

Refund window

If, after payment, no attorney in the network takes your case within seven (7) days, the platform fee is refunded to you in full. Processing fees may be non-refundable where imposed by the payment provider; this will be disclosed at checkout.

Attorney fees are separate

Any fees charged by an attorney are set by, agreed with, and paid to that attorney directly. MyUSVisa does not set attorney fees and takes no share of them. Government filing fees are separate again and are paid to the relevant government agency.

7. Your documents & content

You keep all rights to the documents and information you upload ("Your Content"). You grant MyUSVisa a limited license to store, process, organize, and share Your Content with the attorney(s) you choose and with service providers who help us operate the Service, solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content and that it is accurate. Handling of Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: provide false or fraudulent information; upload content you do not have the right to share; use the Service to break any law; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or use the Service to provide legal advice unless you are a licensed attorney acting through the appropriate attorney account.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including payment processors and identity/authentication providers (for example, ITAM / PayServices for attorney sign-in). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any case will be accepted or succeed. Nothing provided through the Service is legal advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyUSVisa and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from the acts, advice, or omissions of any attorney. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount of platform fees you paid to MyUSVisa in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyUSVisa from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including fees owed, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will attempt to resolve disputes informally first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
