How it works for attorneys

Apply once. Review cases. Offer on the ones you want.

  1. 1

    Apply and get verified

Tell us about your practice and your bar admission. We verify your license and good standing with the state bar before you can see any case — usually within 1–3 business days.

  2. 2

    Review organized cases

Your workspace shows cases in the practice areas you select. Each case arrives with the questionnaire complete, documents sorted and a timeline built.

  3. 3

Propose, get chosen, get to work

Send a proposal with your fee and timeline. The client compares proposals and chooses. Once you both agree to proceed, you activate the matter and manage it in the same workspace.

What's in a case file

Everything you need to decide — before the first call.

No more one-hour intake calls to find out whether a case is a fit. The file is already organized when it reaches you.

Completed questionnaire

Guided answers about the client's situation, history and goal, collected in their own language.

Documents, sorted

Passports, certificates, prior filings and notices — uploaded by the client, read and organized by type.

A clear timeline

The client’s immigration history and key dates laid out in order, so you see the whole picture at a glance.

Case type and goal

What the client is applying for and what they want to achieve, so you can judge fit quickly.

Language and location

The client's preferred language and where they live, so you see the cases you can actually serve.

Your workspace

One place to run every matter.

Once a client chooses you, the case moves into a shared workspace you and your client both use.

Talk to your client in one thread, attached to the case — no scattered emails or texts.

Shared documents

Request documents and receive your client’s uploads, all stored with the case.

Questions from attorneys

How qualified are the clients?

Every applicant has paid the $99 case fee and completed the guided intake, with their documents uploaded, before attorneys can see the case.

Who can join MyUSVisa?

Licensed attorneys in good standing who are authorized to practice U.S. immigration law. Paralegals and non-attorney representatives are not eligible.

How do you verify attorneys?

We confirm your license and good standing with the state bar(s) you list, and match your identity to your bar record. You can only see cases once you are verified — usually within 1–3 business days.

What does it cost?

Joining, browsing cases and sending proposals is free. There is no subscription and no listing fee. You pay a flat $149 software-usage fee per matter, only once you and a client agree to proceed and the matter is activated.

Is the $149 a referral fee or a fee split?

No. It is a flat fee for using the case-management system for that matter. It is not a fee for a referral, introduction or lead, and not a share or percentage of your legal fees. You remain responsible for compliance with your jurisdiction's rules of professional conduct.

Who sets and collects the legal fees?

You do. You set your own fees, form the engagement directly with your client and keep 100% of what you charge. MyUSVisa takes no part of any attorney–client fee.

Which cases will I see?

Cases in the practice areas you select on your profile. You can refine your practice areas later in your portal.

Do I have to take every case I see?

No. You review the file and send offers only on the cases you want. There is no minimum and no obligation.

Is client data secure?

Documents are encrypted and shared only with the attorneys reviewing that case.

Does MyUSVisa give legal advice?

No. MyUSVisa is a technology platform, not a law firm. Attorneys are independent professionals responsible for their own advice and conduct.
